The Communist Party USA endorsed John Kerry for a reason: because the Democrat Party and it's agenda is by far and away the most open and passionate support for communism. The commies supported John Kerry because he sings their song of destruction of liberty and personal freedom. They supported him because they knew he would continue to push their agenda. This is a fact that cannot be denied if Americans would just take the time to do the hard research. These Democrat candidates all push for democracy. To push for democracy - which is NOT our legal form of government - is to promote failure.

These past six years have been transformative in the religious history of the United States. It is arguably the passing of the evangelical moment -- if not the end of evangelicalism's cultural and political relevance, then certainly the loss of its theological credibility. Conservative evangelical elites, in exchange for political access and power, have ransacked the faith and trivialized its convictions. It is as though these Christians consider themselves to be recipients of a special revelation, as if God has whispered eternal secrets in their ears and summoned them to world-historic leadership in the present and future.

Apparently, this was not the right answer. Abraham said his superiors "immediately questioned the validity of our findings" and the panel officers were ordered to reopen the hearing.
When they again came to the same conclusion - that the detainee was not an enemy combatant - Abraham was dogged at every subsequent meeting with his superiors with questions about "what went wrong." He was not assigned to another CSRT panel.
I venture that his 26-year career in the military isn't looking too healthy these days either.
But Abraham's self-sacrifice will pay dividends for the rest of us, by bringing light to a dark corner of American policy.

TWENTY years ago this week, Lt. Col. Oliver North testified for six days before a special joint House and Senate investigating committee. Permitted by the Democratic majority to appear in his bemedaled Marine uniform, and disastrously granted immunity, Colonel North freely admitted that he had shredded documents, lied to Congress and falsified official records.

On Israel itself, outside of fringe candidates like the wacky right-wing libertarian Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and the leftist Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), there isn't too much daylight between the candidates on support for Israel's right of self-defense, as well as on their disdain for Hamas.

Turkey has massed 140,000 soldiers on its border with northern Iraq but so far there has been no violations, Iraq's foreign minister said Monday.
The Turkish military had no comment to the remarks by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, and it was unclear where he got the figures.
If they were accurate, Turkey would have nearly as many soldiers along its border with Iraq as the 155,000 troops which the U.S. has in the country.

In service to whom, or what? What is the purpose or nature of this service? OOOps such answers cannot be revealed here, it is too esoteric.

http://www.lucistrust.org/en/arcane_school/introduction/about_the_arcane_school

No charges are made by the School for its services. The work is financed through the Lucis Trust by the voluntary contributions of students and those interested in the work of the School and in the teaching. Each gives according to personal circumstances.
The purpose of the esoteric training given in the Arcane School is to help the student grow spiritually toward acceptance of discipleship responsibility and to serve the Plan by serving humanity. Esotericism is a practical way of life.
The function of the School is to assist those at the end of the probationary path to move forward on to the Path of discipleship, and to assist those already on that path to move on more quickly and to achieve greater effectiveness in service.

Are all these faiths mutually inclusive? Doesn't freemasonry consider the Christian God to be profane and evil?

http://www.lucistrust.org/en/service_activities/the_great_invocation__1

Many religions believe in a World Teacher or Saviour, knowing him under such names as the Christ, the Lord Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, the Bodhisattva, and the Messiah, and these terms are used in some of the Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist and Jewish versions of the Great Invocation.

The men told the same story, of how foreign troops bombed their villages long after the Taliban fighters had left, how the bombs killed women and children, goats and sheep, and how if they had one wish, it would be for the foreigners to leave.
One man said 60 civilians had been killed in the air strike June 29 in a village in southern Helmand province, one of the most remote and dangerous areas of Afghanistan. Another villager, likely a Taliban sympathizer, exaggerated that up to 500 innocent people had died, according to video of the bomb's aftermath provided by Ariana TV station, one of the few media outlets to visit the insurgent stronghold.

In spite of its long term usage, accumulated scientific evidence now clearly shows that dental amalgam (silver-mercury fillings) expose dentists, dental staff members and dental patients to substantial amounts of mercury in vapor, particulate and other forms. Because chronic exposure to mercury, even in minute amounts, is known to be toxic and poses risks to human health, we must conclude that dental amalgam is not a suitable material for dental restorations.
Due to mercury's inhibiting influence on the growing brain, it is incompatible with current science and experimental knowledge to endorse or condone the use mercury containing fillings - especially in children and women of childbearing age.

Does anyone really believe that Rudy has changed on his gun control stance?

Martin Sullivan may have gone to Rudy Giuliani's town hall meeting up in arms over the former mayor's record on gun control, but he came away with his worries back in the holster.
Sullivan, 21, is from Savannah and attends Hampden-Sydney College, a rural Virginia men's school where students keep their hunting rifles in a gun locker on campus. As president of the College Republicans chapter there, it was up to him to ask Giuliani yesterday what his classmates demanded to know: Does Rudy want to take away our guns?
No, said Giuliani, who as mayor endorsed the Brady gun bill and praised former Democratic President Bill Clinton's work on gun control. Now as a Republican presidential contender he says gun regulations should largely be left to the states.

To every high-school student in this country between the ages of 15 and 18, this letter is to you. If there is ever something that you should take the time to learn about, it is government.
Why? — you ask. If your idea of government is endless babbling by old congressional codgers on C-SPAN, you’re partly right. The art of government, or politics, is less entertaining than a visit to the dentist. However, hidden among all the babble of congressional rules and yeas and nays that you hear on television, the real secret that is never explained to you in school is that government is force, and government can use this force to violate your rights.

An Ohio newspaper's decision to publish the non-public records of concealed carry permit holders drew a strong response, and one gun rights advocacy group published personal but public information about the newspaper's editor.
The Sandusky Register on June 24 published the names, ages and home counties of the almost 2,700 concealed carry permit holders in its circulation area. Ohio gun laws restrict public access to concealed carry records but allow the media to access them.
By listing the names of all the conceal carry owners, the Sandusky Register in effect pinned a giant bull's eye on the back of everyone else, since the criminals now KNOW who is armed and who is not.
The whole point of conceal carry is to create a deterrent by placing doubt in the minds of criminals over whether a potential victim is armed or not.
The Sandusky Register has removed that doubt and that deterrent. The Sandusky Register has AIDED the criminals in Ohio pick helpless targets. This confirms the thesis that anti-gun = pro-crime.

Australian farmers are chopping down thousands of trees every day in a dramatic protest against laws intended to curb the country’s fast-rising greenhouse gas emissions.
Fed up with government restrictions on the use of their land, farmers began a civil disobedience campaign by cutting down one tree on each property, with a threat to increase the rate of felling each day until the dispute is resolved. By the end of this week more than 128,000 trees could be lost in a single day.
The farmers claim that the nation’s vegetation management laws, under which the clearing of trees has been made an offence, are leaving farmers bankrupt or rendering their farms marginal because trees are taking over open grasslands.
